Dovetail Gauge and Mortise Gauge

The dovetail gauge is done in ebony, the mortise gauge in white oak.  The mortise gauge was made to simplify the layout of the "Bob and Dave's bench," while the dovetail gauge was made to mark the dovetails for the chisel box (both of those items can be found back on the Personal Projects page).  Both have been rubbed with linseed oil and the oak has been given a couple of coats of wax.

This was tougher to make than something with only four parts has any right to be.  All angles had to be perfect before and after assembly.
