Miter Saw Stand



The stock for this stand was prepped almost two years ago, but sat collecting dust till I could find the time to cut all the mortises.  It's nice to finally get the saw off the floor.

The pine has been wiped with boiled linseed oil for a bit of protection.  I may still add adjustable pads at the bottom to compensate for the uneven floor,

There was no good reason to use through mortises top and bottom - they'd have been better left closed.

The wedges are from a scrap of walnut, rounded at the top and notched at the bottom and wiped with boiled linseed oil along with the pine.
