The stock for this stand
was prepped
almost two years ago, but sat collecting dust till I could find the
time to cut all the mortises. It's nice to finally get the
saw
off the floor.
The
pine has been wiped with boiled linseed oil for a bit of protection.
I may still add adjustable pads at the bottom to compensate
for
the uneven floor,
There was no good reason
to use through mortises top and bottom - they'd have been better left
closed.
The
wedges are from a scrap of walnut, rounded at the top and notched at
the bottom and wiped with boiled linseed oil along with the pine.
